Hello viewers.
I think I have finally figured out wordpress, or at least enough to start my blog.
I just wanted to write my first post to introduce myself. For those who do not know me, I am Heather Cluett(Maiden name Mercer). I grew up in Mount Pearl, NL and in 2013 my family moved to Bay Roberts, NL.
I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. I used to have this green- see through Kodak camera, that I would go through rolls and rolls of film, photographing friends mostly. My bedroom walls were covered with photographs.
In 2008, I decided to move to London, Ontario(where my mother lives) to take a photography course at Fanshawe College. I completed one year of the two year course, and decided to move back to the rock in 2009.
I spent time doing some photography here and there, but just kind of living my early 20’s.
When I gave birth to my daughter in 2011, she re-light my love for photography. My husband supported me to follow my dreams and pursue a career in this field when my MAT leave was over.
Since then, I have made this hobby into a Fulltime career.
I am a fulltime mom and a fulltime photographer. Life is chaotic and busy but so wonderful and rewarding.
I specialize in children/newborn/family/wedding photography.
I absolutely adore Newborn & Breastfeeding Photography. My newest love is birth photography, but we will see where that goes.
I have a natural, candid approach to my photography. I like when your true personality and family dynamics come through in a photograph.
I have had the joy to photograph some amazing, beautiful people over the past few years. It means so much to me, when clients don’t even feel like I am a stranger anymore.
When I am not working, I am spending most of my time with my crazy little family.
Amelia is 3.5 now, like my own little buddy. My Husband, Wade, and I are so blessed to have this free spirit child to watch grow.
